La Liga's two record signings, Neymar Jr and Gareth Bale, have both returned to training of their respective club's and will soon return to action.
Bale returned to full training for Real Madrid on Monday, after being side-lined with only a ‘small problem’, according to Los Blancos boss, Carlo Ancelotti.
The former Tottenham man had been training on his own but has now rejoined the first team squad and is expected to return to action when Real Madrid host city rivals, Atletico, in the semi-final of the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
Ancelotti confirmed: “I’m not worried about his problems.
“He had a knock and was out for 20 days. After that he played well and now he’s had a small problem, but not an injury.
“The training that he’s done shows that he’s fine.”
For Barcelona starlet, Neymar Jr, meanwhile, the club’s Copa del Rey clash against Real Sociedad on Wednesday will be too early. The Brazil star also returned to training, but still worked in isolation on Monday.
Neymar has been side-lined for two-and-a-half weeks with an ankle injury, but reportedly could already be playing within a week.
The return of the forward couldn’t come soon enough after the Catalan giants lost 3-2 to Valencia at the weekend and also lost the league lead for the first time in 59 games or 533 days.
