Samir Nasri says that he wants to stay at Manchester City.
The French international midfielder was thought to be on thin ice at the Etihad during City’s underwhelming season.
His relationship with axed manager Roberto Mancini was fractured, and the Italian often called him out for under-performing.
But everything changed for Nasri the moment Mancini was sent packing by City’s impatient owners, and the former Arsenal man is now adamant that he wants to stay.
Nasri has been linked to French big spenders Paris Saint Germain, but he says his future lies at Manchester City.
"It is not true, it is rubbish. They just talk,” Nasri told Sky Sports when asked about the rumours linking him to PSG.
"The director of PSG (Leonardo) said maybe he wants to buy some French players and said my name. He is someone I have known for a long time from when he was at Inter Milan.
"I want to stay in Manchester, I don't want to leave, it is just talk."
