Napoli have not ruled out making a move for Manchester City’s headline making bad boy, Mario Balotelli.
But the Serie A club admits that signing Balotelli would be “complicated.”
Super Mario continues to be linked to a move away from the Etihad, following his highly publicised (and latest) falling out with City manager Roberto Mancini.
While AC Milan have seemingly ruled out a bid for Balotelli, Napoli appear to be contemplating a way to land the volatile striker if possible.
However, the club’s director of sport, Riccardo Bigon, suggests an immediate move for Balotelli is unlikely.
"It is a very complicated situation and we are complete in terms of our strike force," Bigon told Sky Italia.
"It is a situation for the future."
Bigon is not the only person at Napoli who is contemplating the prospect of Super Mario in the club’s colours.
Uruguayan goal ace Edinson Cavani has also gone on record to say that he would love to line up alongside mercurial talent Mario at Estadio San Paolo.
"Nobody has the right to negatively judge a player like Balotelli as people can make mistakes," Cavani told TG1.
"I would certainly love to play alongside him. He is a champion and has proved that. He’s an Italian champion who will make people very happy."
