Napoli And Milan In Winning Form

Napoli kept in touch with Serie A leaders Juventus as they picked up a 2-1 at Parma on Sunday.

Marek Hamsik and Edison Cavani scored either side of a Paolo Cannavaro own goal to lift themselves up to 46 and within three points of the league leaders who were held to a 1-1 draw with Genoa on Saturday.

In Bergamo, AC Milan  moved into fifth place on the table as they snatched a 1-0 win over Atalanta. Milan’s goalscoring sensation Stephan El Shaarawy netted his 15th goal of the season after 29 minutes to help his team go within six points of a top three place.

Atalanta, meanwhile were reduced to ten men after defender Davide Brivio was sent off for his second yellow card just on the hour.

Atalanta now find themselves just four points off the drop zone.
