Bayern Munich striker, Thomas Mueller, admits he is well aware of interest from Real Madrid, but currently sees no reason to quit the Bavarians.
The German international has long been linked with a transfer and has had clubs such as Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid all mentioned in connection with his name.
However, the Best Young Player and Golden Boot winner of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, is flattered by the interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.
“Real Madrid? There has been speculation about my future in the past weeks, months and even years,” Mueller told German newspaper TZ.
“And we’ve all seen what the rumours have done so far.
“It’s not bad to hear of interest from elsewhere, but at the moment I have no reason to leave Bayern Munich for another club.”
Mueller has hit the back of the net seven times in 16 Bundesliga games so far this season, and also scored three times in the Champions League group stage.
He is likely to feature in the starting XI of the Bavarians tonight, when they travel to third-placed Borussia Dortmund.
