Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho says "it was fun" managing Mario Balotelli when he was in charge of Inter Milan.
Mourinho Support For Balotelli
Balotelli has had several run-ins with Manchester City trainer Roberto Mancini, prompting fresh speculation the striker could be on his way out of the Etihad Stadium.
Mourinho, however, appears to have enjoyed his time with Balotelli.
"Balotelli, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, [Marco] Materazzi. They are not the most difficult of players to manage," Mourinho told Rai Sport. "With Balotelli, it was even fun.
"Those not seen or felt outside are in fact the difficult [people], rather."
Meanwhile, Mourinho hopes Los Blancos can win the Champions League this season, with their La Liga title defence taking strain.
"I cannot say what I want to conquer this season, but I hope to win my third Champions League [following success with Porto and Inter]," he said.
"I do not know if it will be with Madrid this year, because it is all very balanced. Still, I have another 20 years of football to achieve my target."
