Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes the pressure to win the Premier League title is on Manchester City.
“The team with more responsibilities to win it, because their squad is quite unique, is Manchester City.”
But The Special One also said that neither Tottenham nor Manchester United are out of the title race “Spurs and United know, if teams reduce (their points gap) from 10 to seven or from nine to six, they are again into the race.”
“But I think they also know if the move is from 10 to 13, or nine to 12, it becomes hard.”
Overall Mourinho sees the current top six as “very equal in their potential” and in contention for the title this season.
“I don't think we can speak about favourites but we can say that one team is top of the league and some are a little bit far (behind) but I keep thinking that all the six teams are title contenders.”
Mourinho’s Chelsea next face two away trips to bottom half teams Sunderland (today) and Stoke (Saturday) as part of their busy December schedule with nine games in 29 days.
