Monaco are interested in signing Hulk, according to the agent of the Brazilian international striker.
The French Ligue 2 champions are likely to splurge well over €100 million on new players ahead of next season, and have already signed James Rodriguez, Joao Moutinho and Ricardo Carvalho.
They are also expected to wrap up deals for Radamel Falcao and Victor Valdes by the end of the week.
A common theme running through the transfers is Portugal, with Moutinho and Rodriguez signed from Falcao’s old club, Porto.
And now it seems the wealthy Monegasque club wants another Porto old boy in Hulk.
The powerful hit-man has never been comfortable since moving to Russian club Zenit St Petersburg, and has already had one transfer request denied.
There is nothing official yet to suggest that he will be Monaco’s next big-money signing, but Hulk would surely smash at the opportunity join his former Porto partners in crime on the French Riviera.
And according to his agent, Teodora Fonseca, a bid for Falcao is likely afoot.
"I know people at Monaco," Fonseca told Le 10 Sport.
"They have not contacted me, but there has been speculation and the interest is real."
