AC Milan have insisted that neither Mario Balotelli nor Massimo Allegri are destined to leave the club anytime soon.
Balotelli’s agent caused a ruckus this week, when he said the former Inter Milan and Manchester City striker could reunite with his old boss Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
Allegri meanwhile, seems to be on thin ice at the San Siro, with the Rossoneri mired in mid-table, 15 points behind high flying Serie A leaders Roma.
Super Mario played the full 90 minutes as Milan laboured to a 1-1 draw with Lazio last night, which did little to ease the pressure on Allegri’s shoulders.
After the match, Milan’s vice-president Adriano was adamant that Balotelli is staying, and he also made the same noises about Allegri.
"There is absolutely no problem with Balotelli," he said.
"Mario will continue to be our star. He is not going anywhere.
“He is a fascinating individual with global appeal.
“He will stay with Milan because he is happy here and has a long contract with the club."
Regarding Allegri, Galliani added somewhat less convincingly: "Allegri will continue as coach.
“At the end of the season we will analyse the situation as we always do.
"We are still in three competitions and all three of them can qualify you for Europe."
