An overweight Welshman with some neat football skills has become an overnight Youtube sensation, after he was filmed playing a lonely game of keepy-uppy in a desolate car park.
Unemployed 50-year-old former fisherman, Andrew Cassidy, has given morbid pleasure to over 600 000 football fans around the world, thanks to his impressive ball juggling skills.
His unlikely ability has even earned Cassidy an invitation to participate in the World Freestyle Football Championships in Dubai, and he wants to test his skills against Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi.
"I'm quite agile for a big guy and I've got good hand-eye coordination, balance and timing,” Cassidy told walesonline.co.uk.
"I'm pretty good even though I've got a lot of blubber on me.
"It's just a matter of practice and I've got plenty of time on my hands for that,” he said wistfully.
"It must be hundreds - I can keep it up for hours if I really want to,” Cassidy added, when asked how many times he can keep the ball up.
"It's just something I have learned to do to keep me fit and healthy.
"When I was growing up Pele was my favourite player now it is Lionel Messi.
"I think he's the best player there's ever been - I'd like to take him on at keepy-uppy to see who would win."
