Belgium boss, Marc Wilmots, has urged Chelsea’s Eden Hazard to join Paris Saint-Germain and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer.
Hazard has been Chelsea’s outstanding player this season and it is no secret that the French giants want to add him to their ambitious project.
Wilmots believes a move to France would be an opportunity for the 23-year-old to ‘raise his level’ and he could shine alongside PSG’s star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“It’s an opportunity to be taken into serious consideration if he wants to be part of the category of players who make the difference,” he said.
“It’s time to raise his level. Hazard and Ibrahimovic are two different players – but highly complementary.”
Hazard has scored 14 Premier League goals and assisted further nine this season, and PSG are reportedly keen to pay £60m (R 1.05 billion) for him.
However, so far Jose Mourinho, who believes Hazard can follow the path of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, has always ruled out a transfer of the 'current best young player in the world'.
The Chelsea winger is a major doubt for the next few games including the Champions League semi-final and the trip to title contenders Liverpool, after picking up a calf strain against PSG on Tuesday.
