Manchester United have rubbished reports that they have made ‘big money’ offers for German duo, Thomas Muller and Marco Reus, this summer.
Recent reports have linked United with the two German stars, who reportedly both snubbed the English giants to stay with their respective clubs.
Muller hinted that he was approached by United earlier this summer in a recent interview he gave, answering: “Of course,” when asked whether he was approached by the Red Devils, but said Bayern is the only club for him.
The talk of Reus’ potential move to Old Trafford was brought to public by Atletico Madrid president, Enrique Cerezo, who claimed Atletico were never after the Dortmund star and wouldn’t have been able to match United’s offer.
However, a United spokesman denied these rumors, telling Sky Sports: “It is not true that we made offer for Muller or Reus at any stage.”
