Manchester United and Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to launch bids for a 16-year-old Portuguese wonderkid.
According to a publication called Record, both clubs are interested in Benfica winger Umaro Embalo and want to sign him at the end of this season.
The teenager is currently in the Portuguese champions academy which is seen as one of Europe's most prestigious development houses.
It has been reported that Los Blancos have made a bid for the youngster, but it was turned down immediately by Benfica, as they thought the fee of £7million (R118m) was far too little.
Embalo is yet to make his senior debut for the Eagles, but it is said that he will not have to wait very long for it to come.
Red Devils academy chief Nicky Butt is a very big fan of the winger and is hoping that the Premier League club can convince the starlet to move to England.
The 16-year-old has scored six goals in 12 games for Portugal U16’s and 12 goals in 15 appearances for his country’s U17 side.
