South Africa's road to Russia has almost come to a grinding halt after they suffered a second successive defeat to Cape Verde on Tuesday. Two goals from Galatasaray striker Garry Rodrigues helped the islanders beat Stuart Baxter's men 2-1 in Durban.

Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are also among the players who made CAF's team.
