Mali star, Seydou Keita, has joined Seria side AS Roma on a one-year contract.
The former Barcelona midfielder joins as a free agent after a six-month stint with Valencia in Spain.
The 34-year-old has helped Valancia to reach the semi-final of the Europa League and will now play Champions League football with Roma next season.
Roma, coached by Rudi Garcia, finished runners-up in the Seria A and will return to Europe’s elite competition for the first time in three years.
Keita joined Valencia last January after he had joined Chinese side Dailan Aerbin from Barcelona in 2012.
He won 14 trophies in four season with Barcelona between 2008 and 2012.
