Real Sociedad struck in the third minute of stoppage time as they held Real Madrid to a 3-3 draw in an exciting encounter on Sunday night.
Madrid took just six minutes to open the scoring when they hit on the break and Gonzalo Higuain burst clear before sliding the ball under the goalkeeper.
Imanol Agirretxe tried to respond but he guided the ball into the side netting from close range while Diego Lopez pulled off a double save to keep out Griezmann and Agirretxe soon after.
Sociedad continued to search for a way back into the game and went close again through Griezmann who saw his diving header in the 38th minute fly across the face of goal.
The game exploded into life after the break with Higuain seeing a throughball just snatched away from him before Kaka curled an effort over the crossbar.
At the other end, Lopez was again tested by Agirretxe while Inigo Martinez almost nodded the ball past his own goalkeeper.
Madrid would then bag their second in the 57th minute when Jose Callejon slotted a fine cross from Kaka at the far post.
Sociedad responded quickly though when a handball from Sami Khedira gave the hosts and penalty which Xabi Prieto fired past Lopez.
Madrid took just two minutes to hit back themselves though when Khedira played a neat one-two with Mesut Ozil before dinking his finish into the far corner.
Sociedad pressed for another equaliser but spurned chances through Prieto and Agirretxe as Madrid looked on course to claim victory.
The hosts would not be denied though and with seconds to go Prieto popped up at the far post to slot home from close range as the points were shared.
