Liverpool are understood to include a ‘good behaviour clause’ in Mario Balotelli’s contract.
Balotelli reportedly arrived in Liverpool yesterday for a medical and to finalize the terms of his contract after the Reds and AC Milan agreed to a £16 million.
However, as the transfer nears conclusion, the controversial striker has been told he must accept a behaviour-related clause in his four-year deal as reported by the Guardian.
The clause will reportedly see hefty punishments, including automatic huge fines, dished out to him if he repeats some of his previous antics.
The Guardian lists late arrival for training, disrupting his new teammates and getting arrested by the police as possible incidents which get fined.
The terms are designed to keep the 24-year-old on a tight leash given Balotelli’s history and after the club already experienced troubles with Luis Suarez.
