Gelson Martins netted six minutes before time for Monaco to clinch a 2-1 victory over Toulouse at Stadium de Toulouse.
Wissam Ben Yedder got the opener for the visitors in the fifth minute from the penalty spot but Yaya Sanago pulled Toulouse level five minutes before the break from another penalty.
Martins then found the winner for Monaco with six minutes remaining.
Dijon 2-2 Montpellier
Bafana Bafana star Keagan Dolly was on the bench as Montpellier were held to a 2-2 draw by Dijon at Stade Gaston-Gerard.
Two first-half goals by Florent Mollet and Teji Savanier's were not enough to hand Montpellier victory, as an early own goal by Junior Sambia and a late equaliser by Stephy Mavididi for Dijon ensured the share of the spoils.
Saint-Etienne 4-1 Nice
Saint-Etienne went up to fifth on the table after a comfortable 4-1 victory over Nice on Wednesday.
Denis Bouanga netted in either half for his brace while Romain Hamouma and Wesley Fofana were also on target for St. Etienne. Kasper Dolberg scored the only goal for Nice.
