Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott is expecting a tough match when his side lock horns with Crystal on Sunday.
Lescott admits his team are on a high after beating Liverpool 2-1 on Boxing Day, but has warned his teammates not to take Palace lightly.
Palace come into the game against City off the back of a great 1-0 win over Aston Villa also on Boxing Day.
Speaking ahead of the match Lescott knows Palace will pose a threat, especially under the guise of Tony Pulis.
“We are confident but not arrogant,” said Lescott.
“We believe that we can be a match for any team if we apply ourselves in the right way and fortunately we have been doing that at home.
“I think we have the hunger and desire there now and I think the form is coming at the right time.”
“Make no mistake, Palace will be a very strong test.
“They're coming off the back of a great win at Aston Villa.
“Their form has picked up since Tony Pulis has come in. He's an experienced and organised manager, so we know we're going to be in for a game.”
City currently occupy second place on the table with 38 points from their 18 league games, while Palace sit in 17th place on 16 points.
