Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm says that they are yet to reach their full potential despite a treble-winning season.
The Bavarians romped to a historic treble by winning the Bundesliga by a record 25 points before lifting the UEFA Champions League. The German giants then completed the hail with victory in the DFB-Pokal.
Germany skipper Lahm believes that the superb season will not be a once off, and he expects more of the same over the next few campaigns.
"For me, the best thing is that I'm convinced that these three titles signal not an end, but a beginning," he told Suddeutsche Zeiting.
"We have an outstanding squad, we have top characters in the team, great mentality and we're almost all under long-term contracts.
"The team will stay together and be added to and the club is great. And a world-class coach is coming.
"It's exactly what we want. We're about to start a memorable era. Our best years are ahead of us. As strange as that sounds."
