Bayern Munich defender Philipp Lahm has revealed that they are loving life under new coach Pep Guardiola.
The right-back is still beaming after a hugely successful campaign, where the Bavarians marched to a treble, but is confident that they can continue their success under the guidance of the former Barcelona tactician.
"It’s fun," Lahm, 29, told the club's official website. "We have all the conditions to play football in the coming years successfully. You can really look forward to the future.
"Guardiola’s the pleasant kind. One can talk with him about everything and that is very important for a team. He has a clear vision.
"You can tell that the coach is full of energy and has a clear idea of how he wants to play defensively and offensively. We are hungry again and want to win more titles."
Claudio Pizarro also had high praise for the manager, adding, "It’s a special thing for any player to play under him. I think for me, he is one of the best coaches in the world.
"I think this will be a very good year for us. I hope it will be better than last year, which of course will be very difficult, but we have the belief and confidence that we are able to achieve important things this season.
"Every time a new coach comes, it is difficult to get into his philosophy. We must quickly learn and watch what he wants from us. We must be very focused.
"He talks a lot with the players and explains what he expects from each player in his position. For a player, it is important that the coach has a lot of contact with them."
