Italian giants, Juventus Turin, are reportedly hoping for Paris Saint-German to open a ‘bidding war’ for their highly rated midfield starlet, Paul Pogba.
The 20-year-old has been on the rise since joining from Manchester United in 2012, blossoming into one of the hottest transfer targets in world football.
His recent form has caught the attention of a number clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and PSG.
According to La Gazetta dello Sport and reports in France, the French champions have now stepped up the chase for Pogba and bid £58m to secure his services.
Juventus have continuously denied rumours that Pogba would leave the club, but if the player wants to go, the Italian’s would be hoping for a high transfer fee after a bidding war could now push the price for Europe’s Golden Boy.
Pogba originally left Old Trafford after a public bust up with former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, over contract negotiations and playing time, but is now reported to be a main target in David Moyes’ transformation of the Red Devils.
Chelsea and Real Madrid didn’t make their aspirations for one of Europe’s brightest talents as public yet, but if they were to enter the chase for Pogba, his price could rise sky high.
