Juventus Turin midfield motor Arturo Vidal has extended his contract with the Italian club until 2017.
A statement released on the club's official website reads: "Juventus are pleased to announce that Arturo Vidal has put pen to paper on an extended contract which keeps him with the club until 2017.”
Last week Vidal made international news when he scored a hat-trick in Juve’s 3-1 against Copenhagen - The Old Ladies first Champions League win this season.
The aggressive 26-year-old keeps a lot of traffic away from his defence and is one of the most dangerous midfielders out there. This season he has already scored five goals in the Italian Seria A as well as in the Champions League.
According to his club “the Chilean has lived up to his billing as the complete modern midfielder. Defensively, nobody has made more tackles than him, while, along with his undisputed eye for goal, he has also contributed the most assists in the past two-and-a-half years.”
