Juve Reiterates Pogba Not For Sale

Juventus general manager, Giuseppe Marotta, has underlined the club’s commitment to keep hold of Paul Pogba.

The French starlet won the 2013 Golden Boy award, led his country to victory at the Under-20 World Cup and has been in fine form for Juventus.

Pogba joined Juve in 2012 and has two years left on his current contract. The 20-year-old is continuously linked with a move away from Italy with PSG, Real Madrid and Arsenal amongst the clubs reportedly prepared to step up the chase.

Despite the massive interest, apparently even from Pogba’s former club Manchester United, Marotta remains calm and told RaiDue: “Pogba is a very good football player and so the eyes of big clubs are on him, but we don’t want to sell him.

"We will soon talk with his agent about his contract too."

Marotta also commented on the futures of veteran midfielder, Andrea Pirlo, and coach, Antonio Conte.

"Pirlo has a contract expiring in June, but the relationship between him and the club are excellent and very soon he will extend the agreement," he said.

"The Conte cycle with Juve can also last in the long term."

Juventus have won the previous two Seria A titles and are leading their current campaign with eight points ahead of second-placed Roma, but can they keep all their key players or will the likes of Pogba, Pirlo and Vidal opt for stronger leagues?
