Colombia winger, Juan Cuadrado, is set to snub FC Barcelona and Manchester United after announcing he will be staying at Fiorentina.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to Camp Nou or Old Trafford all summer, but Fiorentina’s high asking price reportedly blocked a potential transfer.
“I’m very happy to stay here and I’m sure we’ll be taking Fiorentina forward in the future,” he posted on his Twitter account on Saturday night.
The Colombian convinced with one goal and four assists at the World Cup and was supposedly a Barcelona target to replace Dani Alves.
However, the Brazilian decided to stay at Camp Nou and Cuadrado is understood to prefer a more attacking role.
Louis van Gaal was reportedly also keen to lure him to Old Trafford in his attempt to bring in quality wingers, but has instead bought Angel Di Maria.
