New Real Madrid signing, James Rodriguez, has praised his partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Rodriguez joined Madrid for £63 million this summer and has to replace Angel Di Maria at Bernabeu.
"I've hit it off well with him and I hope we can be together for a long time,” he told Marca.
The Colombian assured that he is working day in, day out and said that he has found a very modest group of players at the Bernabéu.
"All the players there are very humble - that's why they're there, and they're great players,” he continued.
With the departure Angel Di Maria and Real’s frontline reserved for Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale, Rodriguez might have to adapt to a deeper role in Carlo Ancelotti’s line-up.
"I'll go wherever the manager tells me to, and wherever it is I'll be fine,” he concluded.
The 23-year-old won the Golden Boot after scoring six goals at the World Cup and was Madrid’s most expensive signing this summer.
