New Barcelona signing, Ivan Rakitic, has expressed his admiration for his new teammates Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi.
At the beginning of July, Rakitic joined Messi and Neymar in transfer from Sevilla for a reported fee of £15 million, and has since been joined by Suarez, who came from Liverpool for £75 million.
"I think that these three players are maybe the best players in the world," the 26-year-old Croatian told FIFA.com.
"I think from these players we can learn so much. We have to work together to be a strong team, a hard team."
Though Rakitic expressed his excitement to work with the trio of forwards, Neymar is still recovering from a serious back injury while Suarez still has 12 weeks of an international FIFA ban to serve.
"I think he is one of the best players in the world, so of course, I would like it if he could be with us today or tomorrow," Rakitic added, regarding Suarez.
"I am expecting that he can start soon with us and I hope that he will do the same things for Barcelona like he did for Liverpool."
Suarez's initial appeal against his ban was denied, but his new club and the player have chosen to take it up with the Court of Arbitration for Sport, with a decision expected in August.
