Iago Aspas could be the next underrated Spanish player to make a splash in the English Premier League.
The 25-year-old forward has been linked to Chelsea and Reading of late, and his La Liga club- Celta Vigo- fear that he could soon be joining the Spanish ranks in England.
Like Swansea star Michu before him, Aspas plays for one of Spain’s less fashionable top-flight clubs.
But his 8 goals so far this season have seen him flicker onto EPL radars, as clubs look for a Michu-like bargain buy from La Liga.
The buyout clause in Aspas’ contract with Celta is a relatively paltry €10million, and the club is bracing itself for a European rival to trigger the clause.
Celta coach Paco Herrera said: "It seems that there is the possibility of a club emerging that are willing to pay the clause.
"In that case, if the player wants to go, Celta will not be able to do anything."
