Mexico outclassed Ecuador 3-1 at the AT & T Stadium on Saturday in their international friendly. The Mexicans opened the scoring in the 33rd minute through Luis Montes who found the bottom corner with a shot from outside the box. Marco Fabian then doubled Mexico’s lead with a ferocious effort from the edge of the box which flew into the top corner. Giovani Dos Santos made sure of the victory when he found the bottom corner from close range in the 76th minute, with Enner Valencia grabbing a late consolation goal for Ecuador.
Ivan Perisic scored twice to help Croatia to a 2-1 win over Mali on Saturday at the Gradski Stadium in their international friendly. Cheick Mady Diarra did however grab a late consolation goal for Mali in the 79th minute.
Oleg Shatov gave Russia a third minute lead only for Anders Ågnes Kondrasen to find an equaliser for Norway as their friendly ended 1-1 at the Ullevaal Stadium on Saturday.
Bosnia-Herzegovina were too strong for the Ivory Coast as Edin Dzeko’s brace led them to a 2-1 win over the Africans in their friendly on Friday. Dzeko broke the deadlock in the 17th minute before doubling his side’s advantage in the 53rd minute. Veteran striker Didier Drogba grabbed a stoppage time consolation for Ivory Coast but it was too little too late.
