Cameroon got their World Cup preparations off to a bad start after losing 2-1 to Paraguay.
Oscar Romero opened the scoring for Paraguay in the first half, before former Bayern Munich striker, Roque Santa Cruz, doubled the lead in the 68th minute with simple finish from close range.
Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting reduced the deficit in the 75th, while Mohamadou Idrissou squandered a great chance to equalise, after his penalty was saved by Victor Centurion in the 87th minute.
The Indomitable Lions take on Joachim Low's Germany on Sunday as they continue the preparation for the showpiece in Brazil.
Cameroon's group A opponents, Mexico, began their World Cup preparations with an impressive 3-0 win over Isreal.
Defender, Miguel Layun opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, before completing his brace in the 62nd minute, while Marco Fabian rounded off the scoring in the 85th minute.
The Mexicans were given scare in the 70th minute when first choice goalkeeper, Jesus Corona, was forced off with an injury, after colliding with teammate, Francisco Rodriguez.
