A goal a minute from time courtesy of Victor Caceres saw Paraguay salvage a 1-1 draw against France in an international friendly at the Allianz Riviera on Sunday.
It was not the most entertaining game after both sides wasted numerous opportunities in front of goal.
In fact we had to wait until the 82nd minute before the game saw its first goal, second half substitute Antoine Griezmann finding the back of the net for France.
Paraguay, however, were not to be out done and equalised in the final minute of regular time courtesy of Caceres’ strike.
Elsewhere in the world on Sunday, USA beat Turkey 2-1 at the Red Bull Arena thanks to goals from Fabian Johnson and Clint Dempsey.
Selcuk Inan scored Turkey’s consolation goal from the penalty spot in the 90th minute.
Panama and Serbia played to a 1-1 draw at Toyota Park on Sunday as well.
Serbia took the lead in the 25th minute through a Branislav Ivanovic before Gabriel Gomez restored parity on the hour mark.
