Goals from Ricardo Alvarez and Lionel Messi secured a 2-0 win for Argentina over Slovenia in their final warm-up game ahead of the World Cup.

Ricardo Alvarez opened the scoring with the first effort of the game in the 11th minute with a well placed effort into the bottom corner.
Maxi Rodiriguez should have doubled the lead in the 25th minute but midfielder failed to find the back of the net from close range.
Rodiriguez came close in the 33rd minute as his curling effort from 20-yards out was kept out by the crossbar.
Alvarez nearly got his and Argentina's second 10 minutes after the restart but the midfielder's close range produced a fine save from Vid Belec.
Milivoje Novakovic tried his luck from distance three minutes later but the Slovenian striker fired his effort straight Sergi Romero
Lionel Messi doubled the home side's lead in the 70th minute with a simple finish from close range after some neat build-up play with Sergio Aguero and Angel Di Maria.
The visitors failed to breach the Argentine defence, as the hosts held on for a comfortable win.
