Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta described Andres Iniesta as a ‘magician’ following the club’s 6-1 mauling of Getafe on Sunday.
Iniesta scored in the final minute of the match and proved instrumental in the midfield as he set up the opening goal for Alexis Sanchez.
"We had a magician wearing orange boots and the number eight, handing out the ball," Zubizarreta told Canal Plus.
He added that there was also plenty of support from Sanchez and David Villa, while Lionel Messi continued to shine as he once again found the net for the 35th time in the league this season.
"We are not going to repeat all the praise we have showered on him (Messi)," he added.
"Alexis and Villa gave us a lot of speed and created spaces and showed they are also capable of putting the ball away."
The sporting director added that he will be meeting with manager Tito Vilanova who is recovering from surgery to discuss the club's prospects.
"I'm going to see him [Tito] in person and we will talk about football, as we usually do when we are together, and so I can touch him and see him. We all also discuss the future," he said.
The Blaugrana are now 16 points clear of rivals Real Madrid and look on course for yet another Spanish League title.
The former goalkeeper also admitted that he has not spoken with president Sandro Rosell about signing any Real Madrid players.
"I speak very little with him [Rosell] about players, and never about Real Madrid players. Only when we play against them. They have a great squad and the Castilla as well," he explained.
