Arsenal’s 18 Year old Serge Gnabry opened the scoring with his first goal for the Gunners away at Swansea in a comfortable 2-1 win in Wales before goal-scoring machine Aaron Ramsey settled the tie, taking them back to the top of the table.
Gnabry, the young German got on the score sheet for the first time in his Arsenal career in only his second start for the club after getting his first start against Stoke City recently, in a dominant display by the Londoners after an eventful goalless first 45 minutes at the Liberty Stadium.
Ramsey scored his eighth goal in nine games for Arsenal as he carried on his fantastic goal scoring form this season, getting a goal in an entertaining second-half.
Swansea hit back with under 10 minutes remaining as Ben Davies ran onto a chipped ball over the top to slip the ball home, to setup a nervous last few minutes for the London side as they looked to continue their fine away form so far this season.
Arsene Wenger’s men held out to record their eighth straight victory on the road on the managers 17th year anniversary as Arsenal manager and capitalise on the Manchester clubs’ losses as well as the 1-1 draw between fellow Londoners Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs.
