Arsenal have completed the loan signing of Sweden international Kim Källström from Russian club Spartak Moscow for the rest of the season.
The 31-year old has made over 100 caps for his country and will bring much needed experience to the Gunner’s injury hit midfield, despite not having played in the Premier League before.
The former Lyon player was pleased to have made a move to the London club and was confident that he would make an impression.
“Arsenal is an amazing club with a lot of great players and a coach who has done really well here for a long time. I am so pleased to come here to learn as much as possible. I’m here to do my best for Arsenal and to help out the team, so we can achieve good results for the last part of the season,” Källström said after arriving from Spartak Moscow.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also spoke about the veteran midfielders experience and welcomed the Swede to the Emirates.
“Kim Källström is a hugely-experienced player. He is a midfielder with proven quality at both club and international level. We welcome Kim to Arsenal,” the French manager said.
