Roma’s Ivorian forward, Gervinho has fired a warning shot at defending Serie A champions and current table toppers Juventus that the title race is far from over yet.
Gervinho stated that even though the team from Rome are eight points behind Antonio Conte’s men, they should not be discounted.
"Juve are very strong, but the season has a long way to go yet," the former Arsenal man told Sky Sport Italia.
"It's true they have a consistent advantage, but we'll play the head-to-head game at the Stadio Olimpico and we believe in the Scudetto.
"There are many games to go and the championship is certainly not over."
The former Arsenal player then went on to hail the influence of new coach Rudi Garcia for instilling a sense of confidence in the dressing room.
"Garcia is great because he manages to give every single player confidence, involving them all in the project," the 26-year-old added.
