Wesley Sneijder says that he is relaxed about his future, as Galatasaray wait to hear if he wants to join them.
The Turkish giants have had a bid for the pint-sized Dutch midfielder accepted by Inter Milan, who are keen to wipe Sneijder’s hefty salary from their wage bill.
But Sneijder is yet to commit, and is waiting for the close of the transfer window to see where his future lies.
“There are still two weeks to go before the end of the transfer window, so there is time,” 28-year-old Sneijder said.
“I am relaxed, and I’m considering my options.”
Gala however, do not intend to be led on a merry song and dance, by the player jokingly referred to as ‘Smurf’ by Robin van Persie.
They say that Sneijder must not disrespect them by seeing the club as an “alternative.”
“This club is not anyone’s plaything,” Gala coach Fatih Terim warned.
“Those who play here do not see Galatasaray as an alternative, but as a first choice.
“Otherwise, one must step aside.”
