Bayern Munich winger, Franck Ribery, is nearing his return to action with the first team.
The Frenchman missed the World Cup in Brazil after aggravating a lower back injury in France's training camp, and his since retired from the national side.
But the 31-year-old confirmed he will return to training on Monday.
"From Monday I will be training with the team," Ribery told Kicker magazine.
"I have slight knee problems, there I had to return from the USA. Investigations showed that it is not anything bad," he added.
"I want to risk nothing now, that's the reason for this break. I would rather take a short break than weeks out."
