Real Madrid and Barcelona star Luis Figo believes that Lionel Messi and Neymar will be able to work together at the Camp Nou next season.
The Brazil star joined Barca for 57 million euros this summer and is expected to shine upfront alongside four-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi.
Some critics believe that the duo might not combine well but Figo feels that great players will make the relationship work.
"The great players always understand each other. If they don't get on, it won't be because of football," said the Portugal legend.
Shifting focus to the Confederations Cup, the midfielder believes that Spain and Brazil are favourites to lift the title, but admitted that he wouldn't write of an upset.
"In theory, Spain and Brazil are favourites," he added. "Obviously in practise it can be different, so let's see who wins it."
