FC Barcelona have reportedly transfer listed a couple of their players, including Cesc Fabregas.
The 27-year-old has had an indifferent season at Camp Nou and has been put up for sale by the club, although this doesn’t mean he will leave.
Barcelona want to see if they will receive sufficient offers for the Spaniard, who is valued at around € 40m (R 570 million).
Manchester United are reportedly still interested in signing him after two bids reached deaf ears last year. But his former club Arsenal, where he spent eight years, also still have a buy-back and first-refusal option.
The player was unhappy after being jeered at by the club’s own fans in recent games, but he will speak to new head coach, Luis Enrique, before listening to any offers.
He has scored eight La Liga goals and assisted further 19 this season, but failed to impress in the Blaugrana’s big games.
Fabregas is reportedly not the only player put up for sale. Javier Mascherano, Alex Song, Pedro, Alexis Sanchez, Tello and Daniel Alves would all be allowed to leave the club if the club receives good offers for them.
Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, confirmed as quoted by Marca: “Now comes the time for major changes.”
