Fiorentina striker Giovanni Simeone made his debut for Argentina in the latest international break, following in his father Diego Simeone's footsteps.

The 23-year-old made an impressive start to his senior career with the Albiceleste, but has a long a way to go if he is to match his father's caps tally of 108.

Roma winger Justin Kluivert made his Netherlands debut earlier this year, and has since played another one time for his country. His father, the legendary Patrick Kluivert, scored 40 times for the Dutch national team.

Peter Schmeichel and his son Kasper Schmeichel also both played in goal for Denmark, with the pair having an incredible tally of 166 appearances between them.

Also featured in the gallery is Italy's Cesare and Paolo Maldini. While Cesare played just 14 times for the Azzurri, his son represented the country on 140 occasions.
