Aaron Ramsey scored in the second half of extra time as Arsenal defeated Hull City 3-2 in the FA Cup final, to claim their first piece of silverware since 2005.
Goals from Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey saw the Gunners come back from two goals down to clinch the club's 11th FA Cup.
Hull took the lead as early as the third minute as defender James Chester flicked in Tom Huddlestone's shot.
Five minutes later and Hull increased their advantage through captain, Curtis Davies, Lukas Fabianski did well to keep out David Meyler's header but Davies was on hand to slot home the rebound.
However, Arsenal reduced the deficit in the 16th minute through Santi Cazorla's delightful free-kick from 25-yards out.
Tom Huddlestone came close to adding a third in the 35th minute but the midfielder's effort from range flew just over the crossbar.
Huddlestone threatened once again 10 minutes after the halftime break but his left-footed strike from distance flew over the crossbar.
Arsenal leveled matters in the 72nd minute through Luarent Koscielny's close range volley, after Hull failed to clear the ball.
Keiran Gibbs should have given Arsenal the lead in the 78th minute but the fullback blasted over from six-yards out.
Giroud almost gave Arsenal the lead in the 81st minute but Allan McGregor did well to keep out the Frenchman's effort.
Aaron Ramsey sealed the win for Arsenal in the second half of extra time with a clinical finish, after a neat flick by Giroud to secure the cup for North London club.
