Eliaquim Mangala's first half goal secured a 1-0 win for FC Porto over Sevilla in their UEFA Europa League first leg encounter at Estadio do Drago.
Jackson Martinez nearly opened the scoring just after three minutes but the Colombian's strike from the edge of the area was denied by Fabiona de Freitas.
Porto's Steven Defour was next to have a go from distance in the 20th minute but the Belgian's effot went just wide of the right-hand post.

The hosts took advantage of their early dominance in the 31st minute as Eliaquim Mangala headed home Ricardo Quaresma's corner to give his side the lead.
Quaresma then tried his luck at goal in the 38th minute but the Portuguese winger's effort forced De Frietas into a routine save.
Defour almost doubled the hosts lead just before the halftime break but his long range effort crashed on to the upright.
Sevilla registered their first effort on target in the 67th minute as Diogo Figueiras's stinging effort drew a fine save from Antonia Pimparel.
Kevin Gameiro could have leveled matters in the 75th minute but the striker managed to steer his effort wide of the target from close range.
Quaresma almost doubled Porto's advantage in the 90th minute but the winger's strike from the edge of the area was kept out by the woodwork.
Sevilla will be hoping for a better showing when they host the Portuguese outfit in next week's second leg.
