Goals from Eden Hazard and Samuel Eto'o were enough to secure a 2-1 win for Chelsea over Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
The win sees Chelsea move into third, two points behind leaders Arsena, while Liverpool drop down to sixth in the table.
Liverpool took the lead with just three minutes gone through Martin Skrtel, after Luis Suarez's header was deflected into the path of Skrtel, who finished into an empty net.
Chelsea almost responded immediately as Frank Lampard played in Eden Hazard, who could only fire straight at Simon Mignolet.

Eto'o squandered a great opportunity to increase Chelsea's advantage, after he was left one on one with Mignolet bu this time the Liverpool shot stopper did well to deny the Cameroonian from close range.
Luis Suarez had been quiet for most of the game but in the 57th minute the Uruguayan's volley from edge of the area was easily dealt with by Cech.
Oscar had an effort at goal in the 69th minute, after dispossessing Lucas Leiva on the edge of the area, the Brazilian saw his low strike go narrowly wide.
