Manuel Pellegrini's side will be looking to cement their spot in the top four, as they currently sit one point above fifth placed, West Ham United.
City come into this derby on the back of two successive goalless draws in the Premier League and Champions League respectively.
Man United, meanwhile, were dumped out of the Europa League, after losing 3-1 on aggregate to Liverpool.
Louis Van Gaal's side currently occupy sixth spot in the Premier League and could go level on points with the Hammers with a victory.
City will be without the services of Vincent Kompany, while the Red Devils are still missing club captain, Wayne Rooney.
