West Ham United and West Bromwich Abion played out to a thrilling 3-3 draw at Upton Park in the early kick off.
Joe Cole gave West Ham the lead in the fourth minute, before a brace by Nicolas Anelka put the Baggies 2-1 up before halftime.
Substitute Modibo Maiga brought the home side level in the 65th minute, the striker then turned provider as he set up Kevin Nolan for the Hammers third, before Saido Berahino fired home the West Brom's equaliser in the 69th minute.
Hull City 6-0 Fulham
Hull City scored six second half goals, as they thrashed Fulham 6-0 at the KC Stadium.
Ahmed Elmohamady opened the scoring in the 49th minute with a shot from the edge of the area.
Robert Koren doubled the lead in the 69th minute, before George Boyd got Hull's third in the just three minutes late.
Tom Huddlestone made it 4-0 in the 67th minute, with a left footed effort from outside the area.
Matty Fryatt tapped home Hull's fifth in the 74th minute, before Koren got his second and Hull's sixth in the 84th minute with a finish from close range.
Cardiff 2-2 Sunderland
Jack Colback scored in the dying seconds to rescue a point for Sunderland as they drew 2-2 with Cardiff City in the evening kick off.
Jordan Mutch opened the scoring in the 6th minute with a deflected effort, before Fraizer Campbell doubled the home side's advantage in the 58th minute.
Steven Fletcher scored for the Black Cats in the 83rd minute with a finish from close range after a cross from Emanuele Giaccherini.
Substitute Jack Colback popped up in the last few seconds with a deflected shot to rescue a point for Gus Poyet's men.
Aston Villa 1-1 Swansea
Roland Lamah cancelled out Gabriel Agbonlahor's seventh minute strike as Aston Villa were held to a 1-1 draw with Swansea City.
The draw left Paul Lambert's men in 13th, while Swansea remain in 11th with 21 points.
