Chelsea striker, Diego Costa, has admitted joining the Blues was an ‘easy decision’ and insists Jose Mourinho is the best coach in the world.
Costa, who joined Chelsea for £32 million from Atletico Madrid, had a great pre-season and hailed his new manager and the club.
"Joining was an easy decision for me. We have some of the best players in the world, the best manager in the world and it's a club with great history," Costa told the London Evening Standard.
"I want to improve, not only as a player but as an individual, and I believe this is the perfect place for me to do that. That's the reason I chose Chelsea and why I want to defend this shirt.
"I hate losing. I don't want to lose and I do everything I can to make sure my team doesn't lose. They say the English game is more physical than in Spain, so hopefully I'll do well.
"We have an outstanding squad and, if we can all stick together, pull in the same direction and remain focused, I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be going to the final stages and fighting for every trophy available."
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, hailed his new signings Filipe Luis, Cesc Fabregas and Costa once again, and says his squad is ready to challenge for the title.
"The squad has improved for sure. This is the Premier League, every team tries to be better. Are we ready for that? Yes, but this is England. In some countries only two teams can win the league, sometimes only one, but here it's five or six,” Mourinho said.
"The only thing I can say is that I very much like the squad. The club were fantastic because they gave me the three targets I asked for. We have the squad we want to have, it's a squad for tomorrow, for next season and also with big possibilities for the next five to 10 years."
