Roma’s midfield general Danielle De Rossi has claimed that current Scudetto champions and Serie A leaders Juventus have received favourable refereeing decisions so far this season.
The team from the capital started off the season with a record breaking 10 straight wins before losing inspirational captain Francesco Totti to injury and have struggled ever since, losing the top spot to Juventus.
"Juventus have been fortunate with referees," De Rossi told the Roma Channel.
"Our goal at first was to qualify for the Champions League but now we aren't going to stop,” he added.
"We want to catch Juventus. After the first 10 games we were charged but the moment isn't over, it has just been interrupted - we came up against goalkeepers having the games of their lives and unlucky refereeing decisions.”
"At the moment the team ahead of us have had the luck with the refereeing but it will even up at the end of the season."
Roma take on AC Milan on Monday at the San Siro and Giallorossi talisman Francesco Totti is expected to return to the starting line-up for Rudi Garcia after recovering from injury.
