Paris Saint-Germain defender, David Luiz, has revealed he snubbed FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich to join the French champions.
The Brazil centre-back became the world’s most expensive defender after joining PSG from Chelsea for £50 million this summer.
"I'm sure I'll be happier here in Paris than if I had moved to Barcelona or Munich," hetold Telefoot.
"I really believe PSG is the club of the future, that's why I'm happy to be here and I think I'll stay here for many years."
Luiz also confirmed his Brazil teammate, Thiago Silva, as well as PSG coach, Laurent Blanc, persuaded him to join the Ligue 1 side, and his dream is to win the Champions League with the French giants.
"I talked a lot with Thiago Silva and the coach, Laurent Blanc. My decision was easy. PSG were made for me,” he added.
"The great objective is the Champions League. It's the dream here."
The 27-year-old won the FA Cup, the Champions League as well as the Europa League with Chelsea in England.
Luiz and PSG will look at Monaco tomorrow when the Champions League group stage will be drawn at 17:45.
