Crystal Palace have appointed Neil Warnock as successor for Toni Pulis, who left the club a fortnight ago.
Pulis’ shock departure came just one day before the official season started after he reportedly disagreed with the club’s transfer business.
Palace has been searching for a new manager and now opted for their former boss, Warnock, who previously worked at the club from 2007-10.
"Crystal Palace are delighted to announce that Neil Warnock has been appointed as the club's new first team manager with immediate effect," read a statement on the club's official website.
Palace started the season with successive defeats against Arsenal and West Ham and will next face Newcastle.
Kagisho Digkacoi's former club had a brilliant second part of last season, preventing immediate relegation for the first time, and Pulis was named Manger of the Year.
